Showtime!

Yes, it is showtime, time to Shower with Flowers,

let's start with thanking our grande dame Mme Samm,

These two together in one hop promises

For this bloghop I used patterns or ideas that were on my wishlist for a very long time, it helped shorten my list, how lucky can a girl get?

My first project is a bag: I was so busy looking at fabric and colors

that I forgot *Ü* to check for flowers,  well there are flowers on it, but it is not a shower
but  you find a whole bunch of violets inside!

 

The bag has already been out with me,

flowery or not, I liked using it.

The pattern comes from the book 
21 Sensational Patchwork Bags
written by Sue Briscoe. 
I have the Dutch translation.

Then I made a little project that was on my list for years! It was presented in 
2008 already!

I loved making this cute daisy tee-pincushion.
Made the picture on the one
 sunny afternoon
we had this week, I was so busy 
with the bloghop project
I almost did not notice - oops!

                                     

 

On the Expo in Veldhoven, I think 5 years 

ago, I bought a cute pattern of 

Atelier Ganzerik,

it's a foldable threadcatcher,
very handy to take with you
and use while travelling,
I never know where to leave 
my leftover threads, 
now I can deposit them in 
my own handy dandy threadcatcher.
Under my threadcatcher you see 
a block for our Bloggersquilt,

    

a friend of mine Jacqueline
organizes a Bloggersquilt
she invites 
all European bloggers to send a block of their choice, size 15x15cm, the reason why this is the favourite block (or what it means to you) and a link to your blog.

The next project is also on my Wishlist

for a long time, ever since I discovered

the Art to Heart designs

The one I used comes from Cottage Charm,

I like to use it outside, 

but since spring does not want 
to spring this year

the table outside is wet,
 so it had to be an 

inside photo.
The yellow fabric I got 3 Easters ago
from a friend, she placed it in a 
gift basket and wondered what
I would do with it.
I'll show her this week.
